The goal of the MPIOC Mentorship Program is to foster the professional development and leadership capabilities of its chapter members. Chapter members with junior-level experience in the meetings and events industry are paired with mentors with senior-level experience who act as mentor and guide over the course of a one-term year (July-June).
Mentors and mentees agree to meet a minimum of four times during the year, at least once in person, and to complete an end-of-year evaluation. Each mentor and mentee pair will be given a copy of the other’s mentorship application as a way of guiding professional conversations and the exchange of ideas and resources.
Looking to make an impact in someone’s career development? Join the Mentorship Committee and help deserving students and new colleagues strengthen their skills and experience in the meetings industry.
