WEBSITE ADVERTISING We have been averaging over 2,000 visitors per month from members and prospective members alike. Through our sophisticated search engines, advertising on the website will reach not only our local members, but will be accessible to meeting professionals visiting our site when entering keywords that have anything to do with the meetings industry.
The Newspaper Association of America has reported double-digit growth for the last 13 consecutive quarters of online newspaper advertising spending, which reached $795.7 million in the second quarter of 2007. The latest numbers show print newspaper advertising revenue continuing to drop: down 1.7 percent in 2006 to $46.6 billion. Advertising revenue for online newspaper sites jumped 31.5 percent in 2006, to $2.7 billion.
In an article in Ad Week dated September 17, 2007, Mckinsey & Co released a report on How Companies are Marketing Online. McKinsey polled 410 marketing executives in five sectors, and a third of the respondents that advertise online are already spending more than 10 percent of their budgets on it; by 2010, twice as many expect to spend at least that much online, according to the survey. And 11 percent of all respondents expect to spend more than half of their budgets online within three years. Regardless of the mode, clients and agencies are all scrambling to keep pace with consumers whose desire to live and shop online is growing. By 2010, McKinseys survey respondents expect a majority of their customers to discover new products or services online and a third to purchase goods there.

It is suggested to change your artwork (at no additional cost) every 90 days for maximum exposure. If MPIOC is required to provide layout art, finished art or typesetting, client will be subject to additional charges. Note: All advertising will be placed onto the website within 48 hours of processed payment and receiving of artwork.
Multiple issues get a 10% discount per advertisement placement. Please call for availability. Non-MPI member add 25% to above rates. EMAIL BLAST ADVERTISING During the year, MPIOC communicates with its members in various ways. One effective way is through electronic mail twice a month. At the end of our email message, we would be pleased to offer advertising space to your company for the purpose of publicizing hot dates, upcoming events, or property renovations to assist in growing your business or service. Your ad would include a hyperlink to your website to make it as easy as possible for individuals to access your business.

MONTHLY MEETING TABLE TOP PRESENTATION This is a GREAT opportunity for some one on one time to mingle with attendees, display your products or services and increase exposure of your business to the membership of MPIOC. Based on availability, you will be able to host a tabletop during the reception of our monthly meetings. Networking time lasts for one hour and approximately 80 members attend each function.
MPIOC generally provides one six foot draped table for the presentation. Tabletops must be confirmed no later than one week prior to the program by contacting our management office at info@mpioc.com or (714) 258-1674. ORDER PLACEMENT INFORMATION Website Advertising Please indicate the first three placement and duration choices in which you wish to reserve your placement in order of preference. Space will be reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis. Current advertisers will be given the first option to renew in the same location unless a waiting list exists for that space. Full payment and electronic art for banner advertisements are due to MPIOC a minimum of 15 days prior to the period in which the ad is to run. (Ads are posted on the 1st of the month).
